Biography: Jeffrey B. Hayden earned his law degree from the
University of Southern California Law Center, where he was the recipient
of the Miller-Johnson Equal Justice Award. A native of California, Mr.
Hayden has dedicated his life to protecting the rights of people in

defense in 1997, Mr. Hayden served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable
Judge Robert P. Aguilar and the Honorable Judge James Ware in the United
States District Court in San Jose, California. He also served as a Deputy
Los Angeles County Public Defender for nearly five years. He has returned
to the San Francisco Bay Area, and practices in San Francisco, Santa
Clara County, and San Mateo County, where he sits on the Board of Directors
of the San Mateo County Bar Association.
