Biography: Jeffrey B. Hayden earned his law degree from the University of Southern California Law Center, where he was the recipient of the Miller-Johnson Equal Justice Award. A native of California, Mr. Hayden has dedicated his life to protecting the rights of people in our community.

Before establishing his own law firm dedicated exclusively to criminal defense in 1997, Mr. Hayden served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Judge Robert P. Aguilar and the Honorable Judge James Ware in the United States District Court in San Jose, California. He also served as a Deputy Los Angeles County Public Defender for nearly five years. He has returned to the San Francisco Bay Area, and practices in San Francisco, Santa Clara County, and San Mateo County, where he sits on the Board of Directors of the San Mateo County Bar Association.

Mr. Hayden is a Certified Specialist in Criminal Law by the California Board of Legal Specialization, and was one of 26 criminal defense lawyers recognized as a “Super Lawyer” rated among the top 5% of Northern California lawyers by San Francisco Magazine in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2009. www.superlawyers.com.
